The Reunion.

Searing pain pierces the mind
Etching names and times
That were spend in the night
Cursing the home of mine.

Sees some faces for maybe the last time
Wipes tears of some hard minds
Who swore not to cry
Even when their pet dies

Swears to meet every year
To exchange a cup of joe
To gossip about others’ fears,
And to take a trip down the memory lane

Will we meet again
My dear secret keepers
The other half of mine
The ones I call fine?

To laugh at jokes
To glance at mocks
We made back in time
And have a real good night.
